Course Description:
Giving Effective On-Going Feedback
This LESSON will focus on teaching managers to use effective feedback as a tool for employee performance, improvement, and development.  Emphasis will be placed on developing strategies to maximize the benefits of the feedback process

Course Objectives:

·       Identify the value of providing timely, effective feedback to subordinates

·       Describe the value of receiving feedback

·       Practice giving employee feedback:  problems and benefits

·       Master communication basics for giving and receiving feedback

·       Coach and counsel employees after providing feedback


Targeted Audience/Advanced Preparation:  Administrative and technical professionals, managers, and who want to build and maintain positive workplace relationships; and exam test candidates who want to begin preparing for upcoming civil service exams
